Development Promotion Group (DPG) is a registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) promoted by a group of professional development workers committed to the cause of facilitating development of weaker communities in rural, urban and tribal areas in the Southern States of India.  DPG has recently been given the status of "NGO in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations".
